Precita Valley Neighbors Monthly Meeting SUMMARY
We had a great meeting at Charlie’s today, Saturday, February 11th. Charlie has been working on many ideas for his newly acquired Park Bench Cafe site. Chief among his ideas right now is a family restaurant/tapas pub. This can also serve as a waiting area for Cafe Cozzolino if new ownership takes over. Also, Charlie is considering firing up his already excellent pizza ovens to make pizza by the slice! There are lots of excellent ideas out there, also considering a butcher shop and a bakery.
Precita Park Renovations have started. Tough grass reseeding for the muddy center has begun. We will have a pipeline of improvements and how we can volunteer for presentation at next month’s PVN meeting.
PVN will be writing a letter on behalf of local Precita/Folsom merchants asking their landlords to allow them to improve their frontage.
